Accreditation Scheme of Labor Consultant

 

1. Qualification needed to apply for labor consultant accreditation

l   National Vocational Qualification Level 4 (Intermediate) (match any of the following)

1)     High middle school graduate, being a labor consultant for at least two years; have taken formal occupational Level 4 (Intermediate) training for prescribed hours;

2)     College graduate or above; have worked on probation for one year; have taken formal occupational vocational Level 4 (Intermediate) training for prescribed hours

l   National Vocational Qualification Level 3 (Senior) (match any of the following):

1)     Have labor consultant Vocational Qualification Level 4 Certificate (Intermediate) for at least two years; have taken formal occupational Level 3 (Senior) training for prescribed hours;

2)     High middle school graduate, being a vocational counselor (consultant) for at least five years; have taken formal occupational training for prescribed hours;

3)     College graduate; being a labor consultant for at least three years; have taken formal entrepreneurship consultant vocational Level 3 (Senior) training for prescribed hours;

4)     University graduate or above; have worked on probation for one year; have taken formal labor consultant vocational Level 3 (Senior) training for prescribed hours;

l   National Vocational Qualification Level 2 (technician) (match any of the following):

1)     Have labor consultant Vocational Qualification Level 3 (Senior) Certificate for at least two years; have taken formal occupational Level 2 (Technician) training for prescribed hours;

2)     College graduate; being a labor consultant for at least five years; have taken formal occupational Level 2 (Technician) training for prescribed hours;

3)     University graduate; being a labor consultant for at least three years; have taken formal occupational Level 2 (Technician) training for prescribed hours;

4)     Master degree or above; being a labor consultant for at least one year; have taken formal occupational Level 2 (Technician) training for prescribed hours;

Q: What is Labor consultant training?

A: Labor consultant training is a kind of vocational training carried out by accreditation organization approved by Shanghai labor and security administrative according to national vocational standard.


Q: Is it required that labor consultant must take the training before they take the vocational qualification accreditation examination?

A: Yes. At present it is not accepted for individuals to apply for social accreditation of labor consultant.

 

Q: Is labor consultant classified into different levels, like other vocational skills?

A: Yes. This vocation is classified into four levels: labor consultant (Level 4), labor consultant (Level 3), labor consultant (Level 2) and labor consultant (Level 1). At present, accreditation for three levels can be done in Shanghai: labor consultant (Level 4), labor consultant (Level 3), and labor consultant (Level 2).

 

Q: What kind of persons attends this training?

A: The labor consultant training is part-time. Every week trainees have to take classes on one working day and Saturday or Sunday.
